Accessing your super
The Government has rules about when you can access your super benefit.
Generally, you can take your super once you have:
- reached 65
- left gainful employment after reaching age 60
- reached your preservation age and retired from the workforce (your preservation age is the minimum age at which you can access your superannuation and it depends on when you were born).
