    What are the benefits of go paperless?

    The benefits of going paperless include:

    Paperless is fast: You will receive an email when your online statement is available. There is no need to wait for it to arrive in the mail.
    Paperless is convenient: Statements will be available online anytime, for the lifetime of your account.

    How will go paperless work?

    An email will be sent to the email address that you have nominated in your My portfolio account to advise you that your documentation is available online. The email will tell you where the document is located. View the quick guide on how to access your statements online.

    When will the go paperless service be available?

    AMP will progressively switch to the paperless option. Selected statements will be available from August 2008. Flexible Lifetime - Super, Retirement Savings Account and Eligible Rollover Fund statements will be available online from August 2008.

    How do I sign up for going paperless?

    In order to receive your paperless statements online you will need a My portfolio account and online access.
    If you are an existing My portfolio user you can login to your My portfolio account and when prompted, choose to go paperless.
    If you don’t have a My portfolio account you will need to register for one. As you register, choose to go paperless in your ‘communication preferences’.

    I want to register for a My portfolio account. Where can I do this?

    The link to register for a My portfolio account can be found in the ‘Online Services’ section of the www.amp.com.au homepage.

    I do not know how to use My portfolio. How can I understand how it works? 

    My portfolio has an online learning demo to help you understand how it works. Click on My portfolio in the ‘Online Services’ section of the www.amp.com.au homepage to find out more.

    I have forgotten/lost my password. How do I reset my password?

    You will need to login to My portfolio through the www.amp.com.au homepage. From there, you can select the 'Forgot password' link to reset your password.

    I don't know my username for My portfolio. Can this information be found for me?

    I have registered for go paperless, but I want to change my email address. How can I do that?

    You will need to login to My portfolio through the www.amp.com.au homepage. From there, you can change the email address held as part of your personal details.

    I have registered for go paperless, but I'd like to change my paperless preferences. How do I do that?

    You will need to login to My portfolio through the www.amp.com.au homepage. From there, you can change your communication preferences that are held as part of your personal details.

    I no longer want to receive paperless documentation. How do I switch back to paper documents?

    You will need to login to My portfolio through the www.amp.com.au homepage. From there, you can change the communications preferences held as part of your personal details.

    I might already be registered for My portfolio. How can I confirm this?

    Phone 1300 300 465 or email ampeservices@amp.com.au for assistance to confirm if you already have a username registered.

    If I sign up to go paperless with all of my AMP documentation, will I still receive AMP communications in the mail in future?

    Yes, you may still receive printed material if this information is not available in an electronic format yet. AMP will look to go paperless where possible.

    How long is my statement information stored and available to view online?

    You will be able to view your statement online for the life of your product. However, AMP stores your statement information for the life of your product, plus seven years.

    Will the go paperless service cost me anything?

    No. The paperless service is free to all AMP customers.

    How will AMP use my personal details?

    Please refer to the AMP Privacy Policy Statement on the www.amp.com.au homepage.

    What are the terms and conditions for the ‘Go paperless!’ prize draw?

    Which statements are going paperless?

    AMP will progressively switch to the paperless option. Flexible Lifetime – Super, AMP Retirement Savings Account and AMP Eligible Rollover Fund statements are now available online on My portfolio. CustomSuper and SignatureSuper annual/interim statements will be available online from November 08.
