    Overview

    Designed for volunteer groups and community groups, AMP Not-for-Profit Organisations (NFPO) Insurance will allow you to protect your organisation's public liability exposure and give you peace of mind to carry on with your good work.

    Who is it for?

    To qualify for NFPO Insurance, your organisation must:

    • Be formed by a group of people with a community purpose that is lawful and is not carried on for the profit or gain of its individual members or owners
    • Provide a public benefit or serve a charitable purpose
    • Support the social fabric of the community
    • Not be controlled by a business or government or semi-government sector
    • Have an annual turnover less than $10,000,000.

    Features

    Liability cover

    High levels of cover
    Cover up to $20,000,000 is available.
     
    Cover for volunteers
    Voluntary workers are covered for claims made against them as a result of the performance of volunteer work for the NFPO.
     
    Protection for events
    Additional cover can be requested for most fundraising events, live drama, dance and music performances, entertainment, functions, parades and festivals. Cover for some activities will attract an additional premium.
     
    Member coverage
    Cover for claims against members for personal injury caused by a member while they are engaged in activities conducted by the organisation.
     
    Optional participation extension
    Additional cover for claims against members for personal injury to members participating in certain low risk sport and recreational activities. An additional premium will be payable for this cover.
     
    Features

    Cover Description
    Fire and Other Damage insurance   Cover for your building and business contents & stock for certain specified events such as fire, storm (but not flood), impact, lightning, explosion, and earthquake. Also included is the cost of removing debris.
    Business Interruption insurance   Covers loss of income for your business as a result of insured damage that happens at the insured premises for which you are insured under either fire and other damage, accidental damage and burglary sections.
    Burglary insurance Cover for theft of stock, electronic equipment and other business contents contained within your building, following forced & violent entry.
    Money insurance Covers you for loss of or damage to money which is kept in your building, in transit or at your private residence.
    General Property insurance    Cover for items of your choice such as mobile phones and laptop computers, whether in the office or out.
    Glass Breakage insurance Covers the replacement value of broken glass. Also includes the cost of temporary shuttering, replacement of sign writing, repairing plastic signs up to $1000, and the cost value of stock spoiled by the broken glass.
    Accidental Damage insurance Covers you for accidental loss or damage to the property insured at your business premises.
